Somewhere along the way, I stopped just seeing my mom as “Mom” … and started seeing the woman behind it all. 🤍

My mama, Kathy, became a mother so young. My parents were both so young, still growing up in many ways themselves, and life certainly wasn’t always perfect or easy. But through every season, one thing was always undeniable: my mom loved fiercely.

And my mom? She is an absolute force. Fearless. Bold. Strong. Fierce. The kind of woman who will go to bat for the people she loves every single time — no hesitation, no questions asked. If you’re hers, she’s in your corner for life.

When I was younger, I don’t think I fully understood her intensity or the way she moved through the world. But with age comes perspective, and now I see it for what it’s always been at the core: love. Deep, protective, unwavering love. The kind that stands beside you no matter what.

There’s something incredibly grounding about knowing your mom will fight for you until her very last breath. And I don’t take that kind of love lightly.

Mom, I love you more deeply than words probably know how to hold. My gratitude for you runs through every chapter of my life — in the ways you protected me, believed in me, stood beside me, and continued showing up again and again. So much of who I am was shaped by the strength of who you are!!

Thank you for always being on my side.
And for the record… I’ll always be on yours too!! ❤️
