I'm very excited to share that I have joined the Gordon Thomas Honeywell LLP team.

My current areas of practice include all types of estate planning, probates and post-death trust administration, elder law, guardianships, and court-supervised trusts. Additionally, I serve as a court-appointed Court Visitor/Guardian ad Litem in guardianship and probate matters across the South Puget Sound, having been appointed in Kitsap, King, Pierce, Thurston, Mason, and Grays Harbor Counties. These experiences give me a unique perspective when dealing with elder law, guardianship, and probate matters across multiple jurisdictions.

I take pride in bringing a smile to the practice of law and creating practical solutions that minimize conflict, preserve family assets, and keep families focused on their goals and desired outcomes.

Estate planning is for everyone.

There are a lot of mistaken beliefs about Estate and succession planning. It is not just for “retired” people, although people do tend to think about it more as they get older. Unfortunately, we can’t successfully predict how long we will live, and illness and accidents happen to people of all ages.

Estate planning is not just for “the wealthy,” either. Although people who have built some wealth do often think more about how to preserve it, really good estate planning often means more to families with modest assets.

Too many people don’t plan for the "what ifs." Individuals put off estate planning because they think they don’t own enough, they’re not old enough, they’re busy, think they have plenty of time, or maybe they’re confused and don’t know who can help them. This approach can lead to loved ones having to pick up the pieces.
