Good News! In an important step to protect injured workers from doctors like the one described below, the 2023 WA Legislature and Governor Inslee passed into law a bill which protect injured workers by allowing them to make an audio and video recording of an compelled exam and to have one person of the worker's choosing present during the examination. Support those legislators who sponsored and supported this important worker protection.

This is exactly why injured workers need the right to record these compelled medical exams. How would you like it if you were compelled to see a medical provider that you did not choose and he asked you about your s*x life? This is wildly inappropriate, but when you file a complaint it is found to be 'unsubstantiated' because it is the medical provider's word against yours. You have no way to prove what happened. These doctors make hundreds or thousands of dollars a year, and injured workers have no way to protect themselves.
Talk to your State Legislator about their support this year for a Bill that would allow injured workers to record these compelled exams.
Don't forget to VOTE!
In the last five years, injured workers reported that Seattle-based psychiatrist Dr. Douglas Robinson asked about the dates and frequency of s*xual relations.
