Just helping you all stay in the know - WSP is upping their game

The Washington State Patrol recently added 11 new troopers to its growing phlebotomy program after they completed specialized training at Big Bend Community College.

Once credentialing is complete, WSP will have 48 certified trooper phlebotomists across the state. These specially trained troopers assist with legal blood draws during DUI investigations, helping reduce the impact on hospitals and clinics while allowing troopers to return to the road more quickly.

A Metro Detroit woman joined a court Zoom call while on the road this week. She was scheduled for an appearance before a Woodhaven district judge. Of course, driving a car while appearing in court is something you cannot do when facing a judge.
