General information
Commissioned by the Secretary of State of South Carolina as a Notary Public on 9/27/2007. My commission expires on 9/27/2017. I started officiating weddings by accident when a friend's daughter was getting married and the officiant she hired disappeared two weeks before her wedding. As a Notary, I was qualified to marry her and her fiance and offered to do so. It was a great experience that I thoroughly enjoyed. Via word of mouth, I officiated a few more weddings which led me to my posting on Craigslist. That posting has resulted in several dozen weddings. I charge a small convenience fee but mostly do this because I enjoy the occasion and like to meet people from different walks of life.
