Hey everyone, just a last push on the American Legion Post 294's internet raffle. This is our annual fundraiser that will go towards our social programs like Boys State, scholarships, etc.

Act quick because the raffle stops in about 23 hours!

We plan to live stream the picking of the winners on Monday, May 19th, live from the Texas Gun Club Stafford location.

We had a great Earth Day event this year and look forward to doing it again next year. Thanks to all who came out.

Since Earth Day is a day to highlight ways that everyone can help protect the planet, we want to highlight some ways that we at The Cornor Law Office, PLLC do our part while also making our lives a bit easier.

One of those ways is to cut down on annoying junk mail by registering with https://www.optoutprescreen.com/.

This site lets you from pre-approved credit and insurance offer lists. It only takes a few minutes, and you can choose to opt out for 5 years—or go permanent by mailing in the form.

Fewer offers in your mailbox means less paper, less hassle, and a small win for your sanity and the environment.

I used to shred every piece of junk mail from credit card companies that I received, but over the past year, since signing up, the amount of junk mail has decreased substantially, saving me a ton of time.

So take control of your mailbox this Earth Day!

My American Legion Post 294 in Missouri City, Texas, is selling $20 raffle tickets for the chance to win a $500, $1,000, and $1,500 gift certificate to the Texas Gun Club! The gift certificates can be used in their physical stores in League City and Stafford as well as online. Not only do they sell guns and accessories, but they have ranges as well.

All proceeds go to support the service programs our post puts on, such as Boys State, annual scholarships, etc.

One member has also offered to match 10% of all raffle ticket proceeds and donate them to PTSD Foundation of America - Camp - Hope, which is a great program that aims to bring hope and healing to veterans and their families suffering from the effects of combat-related post-traumatic stress.

Father's Day is right around the corner, so act fast. This raffle is now open, but will close May 17, 2025 at midnight.
