Black lawyers make up only 4.1% of the profession, and brown lawyers make up only 2.5%.

And when you narrow that down to Black women in personal injury, the room gets even smaller.

Attorney Sadler is an Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School alum with a strong background in personal injury and client advocacy. Before becoming an attorney, she built a strong foundation working with clients through various stages of the legal process, developing the skills and perspective needed to serve them effectively.

Her passion for helping others extends beyond the legal field. Through her service in the United States Army, community involvement, volunteer work, and leadership, Yakira has consistently shown a heart for service and a commitment to making a meaningful impact.

We are excited to have Attorney Sadler join the MLF family as we continue serving our clients with compassion, excellence, and purpose.

The response to our Seen & Served Scholarship has been overwhelming in the best way.

We are pausing new submissions until August 1, 2026 so we can revisit the applications we have already received and give them the time and attention they deserve.

This does not affect submissions already received.

The response to our Seen & Served Scholarship has been incredible. 💙

After receiving almost 700 applications, we are pausing new submissions until August 1, 2026.

So far, 12 Seen & Served Scholars have been selected. Before moving forward, we want to take time to revisit the submissions we have already received and give them the care and attention they deserve.

This pause applies to new applicants only. Submissions already received will still be reviewed.

Please continue to follow along for scholarship updates, scholar announcements, and other giveaways we may have in the meantime.

Yesterday, our team had the opportunity to participate in a customer service workshop led by of The ABR Collective — and it was truly impactful.

At McCloud Law Firm, we already believe deeply in serving people well, but excellence requires growth, intentionality, and the humility to recognize there is always room to improve the client experience. That’s exactly why we invited Angela to pour into our team.

Her message aligned so naturally with the values we already stand on — faith, empathy, connection, and treating every client with dignity, compassion, and care during some of the most difficult times in their lives.
