📉Mortgage Rates Drop - Here’s what you need to know.

Mortgage rates are finally dipping, and it could shake up the market.

30-year fixed mortgage rates dropped to 6.45% (and in many cases closer to 6.13%) - lowest in nearly a year. Refinancing applications are up sharply. Homebuyers are showing signs of waking up too with more purchase applications being filed.

If you’re buying - lower rates give you more buying power. Even if prices are still elevated, dropping rates mean more manageable monthly payments. If you like a house and the numbers make sense, this might be the moment to pull the trigger. But don’t wait forever - rates probably won’t continue to drop drastically overnight.

If you’re selling - this could mean more buyers coming off the fence. Buyers might feel more confident now that rates are easing. But keep in mind: inventory and pricing will still matter.
