🎈 Meet Wayne Fortney!

Traveling from Kingsport, TN, Wayne Fortney has been part of the Carolina BalloonFest family for 10 years, flying "Skittles."

Wayne enjoys returning to Carolina BalloonFest to reconnect with friends from the area and be part of the fun festival atmosphere. One of his most meaningful memories is flying directly onto the target during a special memorial flight held in honor of a great friend and fellow pilot.

We're excited to welcome Wayne back to the E.P.I.C. Studios Carolina BalloonFest this October! If you see him around the festival, be sure to say hello and help us give him a warm Carolina BalloonFest welcome.

Lace up for a cause, Statesville!

Lacing Up for Cancer Care is coming to Downtown Statesville on Saturday, October 3, bringing our community together to support local cancer patients.

Hosted in partnership with Downtown Statesville, the Iredell Health Foundation event includes a 5K, 1-Mile Run/Walk, and Rocking for Cancer Care—all benefiting the Cancer Care & Patient Support Fund.

Whether you run, walk, rock, or simply come out to show your support, we’d love to see Downtown Statesville filled with people rallying behind this important cause.

Made in Asheville by Seed and Sky, these silver-plated earrings and matching necklace display a stunning original floral design that the artist named in honor of Sharon Vitale, an especially generous donor during the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. 🤍 Shop Our State Store today at the following link . → bit.ly/4yjAwRL
