All courts in Iredell County are cancelled for Monday February 2, 2026. The Clerk of Superior Court’s Office will be closed.

01/27/2026

All court sessions in Iredell County will be on a two hour delay on Wednesday January 28, 2026. This includes Traffic/Administrative Court in Mooresville and Probate Hearings before the Clerk.

The Clerk of Superior Court’s Office will open at 10:00 am.

Jurors originally summoned for Tuesday January 27, 2026 are released and do not need to report on Wednesday.

All courts will be cancelled in Iredell County on Tuesday January 27, 2026. The Clerk of Superior Court’s office will be open from 11:00 am until 4:00 pm. Jurors scheduled to report on Tuesday should continue to check the jury information line at 704-832-6605 and plan on reporting on Wednesday January 28, 2026 at 9:00 am.

Position Summary

We are currently seeking a Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, personable, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. This individual will work closely with attorneys to provide critical support in all stages of case development.

Key Responsibilities

- Draft, review, and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery

- Conduct legal research and summarize findings

- Organize and maintain case files and databases

- Manage case calendars and deadlines

- Assist attorneys in trial preparation and courtroom proceedings

- Coordinate communication with clients, courts, and other parties

- Support administrative tasks as needed to ensure efficient office operations

Qualifications

- Associate’s degree or Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program preferred

- Previous law firm experience preferred, but not required

- Strong knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and court systems

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research platforms (e.g., FastCase)

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- High attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
