Originally from Germantown, Maryland, Dustin M. Barr earned both his bachelor's degree and Juris Doctorate from Liberty University. After practicing law at a personal injury firm in Savannah, Dustin Barr opened his own law firm in Statesboro, GA, where he, his wife and two children live. While in Savannah, Dustin was an associate at Friedman & Martin with Stan Friedman and Janna Martin, specializing in the areas of Personal Injury and Workersβ Compensation Law. Dustin has served as the President of the Bulloch County Bar Association and as the Municipal Court Judge for the Town of Register and solicitor for the Town of Brooklet. He also served on the Board of Trustees for Choices of the Heart Crisis Pregnancy Center and Young Life of Statesboro. Dustin also served on the Board of Elders of Connection Church in Statesboro. He was selected as one of the Top 20 Under 40 Business Professionals by the Statesboro Herald in 2011. In 2013 he was named one of Georgia's "Legal Elite" in the area of Personal Injury Law by Georgia Trend Magazine. Beverly (Hopkins) Barr is a Bulloch County native and magna cm laude graduate of Georgia Southern University. She spent three years teaching high school history, geography, government, and economics in Bulloch County, before going to law school in Virginia. After graduating from Liberty University School of Law in 2007, Beverly worked for six years as a Superior Court judicial staff attorney for the judges of the Ogeechee Judicial Circuit (Bulloch, Effingham, Screven, and Jenkins Counties) before joining her husband at Barr Law in 2013.
