I know you LOVE your stuff… but buyers don’t need to see ALL of it! 😂

When selling your home, the goal is to help buyers picture THEIR furniture, THEIR family, and THEIR future living there! ❤️

📦 Pack away personal photos, collectibles, and unnecessary decorations.

🧹 Clear off kitchen counters, bathroom vanities, and dressers.

👀 Clean out those closets! Buyers WILL look, and you want them to see SPACE, not STUFF!

🛋️ Less furniture can make rooms feel bigger, brighter, and more inviting.

Remember, you’re not just selling your home… you’re selling the SPACE and the POSSIBILITY of someone else’s future!

And here’s my favorite piece of advice…

💥 You’re moving anyway! START PACKING! 😂

The way you LIVE in a home and the way you MARKET a home are TWO VERY DIFFERENT THINGS!

Back in the early to mid-1990s, I was writing mortgages with 15% interest rates! YES, FIFTEEN PERCENT! 😳

And guess what? PEOPLE STILL BOUGHT HOUSES!

Here’s another thing… Some people are walking around with CREDIT CARDS CHARGING 25–30% INTEREST and don’t think twice about swiping them! 💳🤦‍♀️

But a mortgage rate goes up a little and suddenly everyone wants to put their dreams on hold?!

LET’S PUT THINGS INTO PERSPECTIVE!

Your first home doesn’t have to be your DREAM HOME! It’s your STARTING POINT!

🏡 Buy the condo.
🏡 Build some equity.
🏡 Move up to a townhome.
🏡 Then a semi-attached.
🏡 And eventually that detached home you’ve always dreamed of!

Nobody says you have to start at the top!

There’s absolutely NOTHING wrong with showing a property’s potential. But there’s EVERYTHING wrong with making buyers believe something exists that DOESN’T!

LABEL YOUR PHOTOS! BE TRANSPARENT! STOP MISLEADING PEOPLE!

Buyers shouldn’t walk into a property wondering where the pool, furniture, landscaping, or renovations went! 🤦‍♀️
