Many thanks to the Wagner College Holocaust center for allowing the students share an experience that simply must be lived, not learned.
Dr Lori Wintrob, the Executive Director of the center, gave an overview of the Nuremberg Racial Laws. Our special guest speaker, Mr Arthur Spielman, spoke of his personal experience as a survivor of the Kraków ghetto. SITLA President Charles DeStefano, spoke about the erosion of the rule of law in N**i Germany and the nexus to the Holocaust. Historical artifacts were shown to the students.

Our oganization held another successful summer internship program for high school, college, and law students.
Many thanks to all of the attorneys, court personnel, judges, and special guests who made t all possible. So many young people need mentors, and we continue to give them a real experience in the legal community

The Staten, Island Trial Lawyers Association proudly sponsored an event at the Wagner College Holocaust center regarding law and its impact on the holocaust. Guest speaker included Holocaust Survivor, Leo Ullman, An 83-year-old graduate of Harvard college and Columbia law school. His family hid in an attic in Amsterdam during the war, and he was protected by a Christian family until the conclusion of the war. So impactful and powerful.
