We have expanded our areas of practice! In addition to offering services for divorce, custody, support, domestic violence, wills, POAs, and advanced health care directives, we also now offer services for adoption, guardianships, and collaborative divorce! This is thanks to the continued dedication and work of Hollyce Winters, Esquire, who joined Laura Robbins Law in 2021.

Throughout her career as an attorney, Hollyce Winters has worn many hats. Cum Laude graduate of Duquesne Law School, Former Executive Director of the Centre County Bar Association and Solicitor for the Centre County Office of Aging, Author for the Pennsylvania Bar Association, and a parent to three teenagers. Now, I am proud to announce that she is an Associate Attorney at Laura Robbins Law, LLC! Attorney Winters is eager to serve our community for matters relating to family law, guardianship, and other civil matters.

Here is an article about how the new tax act changes alimony tax deductions. But never fear Pennsylvanians - in PA the spousal support/alimony calculation has changed to accommodate the change in federal law!

New tax rules for alimony mean there could be less money to go around following a divorce. Women, who typically receive these payments, stand to lose the most.
