FOOD DRIVE FOR PERSON 2 PERSON SATURDAY 5/23, 11AM – 2PM, VILLAGE MARKET

Wilton area friends – please come to Village Market on Saturday 5/23 to support a food drive my family is conducting for Person 2 Person.

As you may know, P2P is a wonderful agency providing vital services for the underserved in lower Fairfield County. They provide food, clothing, emergency financial assistance, camperships for children, and college scholarships to help break the cycle of poverty.

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused P2P to relay on food donations now more than ever. They can’t benefit from food drives from schools, houses of worship, or their annual “Stamp Out Hunger” postal food drive. They are seeing 60% increases in demand for food agency-wide. They are needing to purchase more food than ever, at higher costs, due to nationwide food shortages, with a food budget twice what it was last year.

Let’s all please help! The Village Market is graciously allowing us to conduct this food drive in front of the store on Saturday 5/23 from 11am – 2 pm. Look for the P2P van in the Village Market parking lot. Any and all non-perishable items are needed. You can simply place a bag of food by or in the P2P van, and we’ll do the rest.

Feel free to repost- and hope to see you on Saturday the 23rd!

First and foremost, I hope that you and your loved ones are staying healthy and safe.

I am very pleased to post my new/updated website, at www.ctmediation.com. I hope it provides folks with useful information about the mediation process.

Many thanks to Dan Bagnall (www.danbagnall.com) for his excellent redesign of my site!

It’s been my pleasure and privilege to run the Fairfield County Bar Association High School Mock Trial Program. A wonderful learning experience for the students, fantastic cooperation and support from the Stamford Court staff, and terrific volunteer involvement from members of the Bar and the Judiciary.

By day he's a divorce mediator and does pro bono work for local charities, but in his spare time attorney Maurice Segall runs the region's high school mock trial competition.

I'm honored to join the Advisory Board of Circle of Care (https://thecircleofcare.org), a 501(c)(3) organization that provides crucial support to children with cancer and their families. Through a variety of programs including hospital volunteers, emergency financial support, a parent community phone support network, and "Bags of Love" that are given to families when their children are admitted for treatment, COC provides invaluable resources for Connecticut families.
