DEATH CASE WITH 0 VALUE SETTLES FOR $925,000 . My client was a pedestrian who was struck and killed by a vehicle that left the roadway. The Police Report concluded he was walking with traffic on the shoulder of the road and therefore was also negligent. Pedestrians are by law required to walk facing traffic . Four years after Brandon was killed, a Richmond law firm and I are still fighting the legal battle to obtain Justice For Brandon Nutter and his family. Our $23,000,000 lawsuit has been delayed until the completion of the criminal trial of Brandon's Manager, who was allegedly the primary cause of Brandon's death and was indicted for manslaughter. OSHA levied almost $300,000 in fines against Spotsylvania County for wilful and negligent safety violations contributing to Brandon's death. To date, Spotsylvania County has not accepted any responsibilty and has made no settlement offers. Brandon and his family are being victimized twice.

On April 28th of each year, the United Support and Memorial for Workplace Fatalities (USMWF) conducts a Memorial Day and nationwide billboard campaign to honor fallen workers across the United States, a truly uplifting tribute that inspires us all.
