🦃 A Thanksgiving Request from Across the Miles 🦃
Hi friends! I’m a member of Stepping With Leaders Inc, and even though I’m currently in Curaçao, my heart is with our community in Virginia this Thanksgiving. Many people are going without meals this year due to tough times—government shutdowns, missed paychecks, and other struggles—and we want to make sure they have a Thanksgiving to remember.
You can help by:
• Donating a turkey
• Giving any amount of cash to help buy side dishes and make a full meal
• Baking a pie, cake, or other desserts—these sweet touches would be greatly appreciated!
Even just $5 makes a difference! Donations can be sent via Cash App, or if that doesn’t work, you can inbox Januari Coates to arrange another way to give.
If you’re local and have time, volunteers are always welcome to help serve, prepare, and share the love. Businesses that donate will have their name displayed at the event as a thank-you for supporting the community, and the sign is being donated by a family member to show how grateful we are for your support and donations!! 🦃
Let’s make this Thanksgiving a day of joy, laughter, and warmth for everyone who comes through that door. Your support—big or small—means so much and will create lasting memories.
