The Federalist Society heads to St. Charles County for our annual Ethics CLE event on May 22, 2017. This year, we are joined by a distinguished panel of state and federal judges and chief disciplinary counsel of the Missouri OCDC. Our panelists include:

Judge Raymond Gruender, United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit
Judge Zel Fischer, Missouri Supreme Court
Judge Daniel Pelikan, 11th Judicial Circuit, State of Missouri
Alan Pratzel, Chief Disciplinary Counsel, Missouri OCDC

The Federalist Society is heading to Jefferson City! Join the St. Louis and Kansas City chapters on January 23, 2017, for a variety of events on current topics. Following opening remarks by Governor Eric Greitens, Eric O'Keefe will discuss free speech in the context of Wisconsin's political investigation of conservative activists. Then, we will host a panel on tort reform. Lastly, a limited number of individuals will have the opportunity to receive a tour of the Missouri Supreme Court, guided by the Hon. Zel M. Fischer. The Federalist Society is organizing a Memorial Mass for Justice Antonin Scalia on Saturday, February 27, 2016, at the Cathedral Basilica. The Most Reverend Robert J. Join the St. Louis Lawyers Chapter of the Federalist Society on Thursday, October 22nd at 5:30 for "Public Policy and State Growth" with Rex Sinquefield at the World Chess Hall of Fame.

Rex Sinquefield will talk about how the economic policy of states affects economic growth and a state’s ability to attract and retain businesses. Mr. Sinquefield will compare the data across states and discuss how policies like income taxes affect different measures of growth. The program will begin with a short reception and follow with a question-and-answer period.
