If this question looks strangely familiar, it’s because we’ve been here before. However, there is some reason to believe that the state may successfully defend its photo ID requirement this time, unlike in 2006 and 2020.

SO LET'S SEE HOW THIS WORKS!

According to Missouri Secretary of State John “Jay” Ashcroft:

There is no evidence of that (votes cast by a person other than the voter named) happening in Missouri in the past 20 years, Ashcroft concedes, but the state’s chief election official said that doesn’t mean the problem isn’t real.

“It’s hard to have evidence of someone voting as someone they’re not, because how would you know they’re not who they claim to be unless they show their ID? 20 years ago, we had evidence of that in Kansas City, where someone went to vote, and someone had already somewhat signed their name in a ledger and claimed to be who they were,” Ashcroft said. “So, we know it’s happened. It’s an easy thing to stop from happening with a government-issued photo ID. And there’s no downside.”

SO.......

There's no evidence that pigs fly, (over 10's of 1000's of years of recorded human history) but that doesn't mean they don't fly but they just do it a night when no one's looking!
