We are looking for someone to join our Sparkle Crew! We have several Vacation Rentals in the St. Louis Metro Area and are looking for one more person to help us out. Tasks can include simple errands to help with quality control, quick landscaping tasks like raking or sweeping, and cleaning & perfecting our homes for future guests! Attention to detail is super important and occasional weekend availability is a must.
We have systems in place for scheduling turns on a first come basis using an app, which offers lots of flexibility for you to manage your schedule. Presentation is key with each new guest so we provide checklists and photo guides to help each turn finish seamlessly. Turns for regular short term reservations typically take around 2 hours to complete between the hours of 11-3PM, and include typical light cleaning tasks, such as:
Vacuuming
Mopping
Wiping down surfaces
Cleaning kitchen & bathrooms
Laundry (on-site, typically with more than one set available)
Making beds
Restocking snacks and soaps
etc.
The work will peak in the busy travel seasons, holidays, summer, Spring Break, etc. and will taper off in slower months. Averaging about 20 hours a week in the busy season and 10 or so in the slower months.
Qualifications:
1. Must have reliable transportation
2. Must be willing to work as a 1099 Independent Contractor
3. Provide own cleaning supplies (full size vacuum, steam/spin mop, gloves, appropriate surface cleaners, etc)
4. Have flexibility in scheduling and be available on weekends
5. Be ready to communicate about missing items or problems on the property immediately
6. Physical ability to regularly climb multiple flights of stairs (often carrying laundry), stoop & bend to effectively clean, shift furniture to properly clean under/around/behind, drive in varied weather (rain, snow, etc)
Qualified applicants should be ready to provide references upon request and go through a background check.
