It's International Turtle Day -Give Turtle's a Brake!

Celebrate World Turtle Day by slowing down! Give turtles a brake and help 'em cross the road:
* Stop to help only if you can do so safely.
* Relocate turtle in direction pointed -they know where they're going.
* Don't pick up turtles by the tail.
* Be especially cautious driving near wetlands. Slow down.
* Wild turtles don't make good pets -let them live their wild destiny.

A St. Louis judge on Friday granted a stay on a decision earlier this week that the city must halt its red-light camera program.

The judge has spoken: St. Louis City must immediately halt enforcement of their red light cameras. The decision is likely to be appealed. So sit tight on those tickets, drive safe and stop at those lights, St. Louis! Questions? Call us!

We bet you've figured this out: this isn't a typical winter storm.

Usually, once snow stops falling, we can get it pushed off the highways quickly. The cold and the winds are our nemesis this time. As the temps rise and the winds stop blowing, snow won't stand a chance.

But it is going to be a while before that happens especially in southwest Missouri and the St. Louis areas. Expect to see snow-covered routes persist into the morning commute on Tuesday. Hang in there. We'll win in the end!

No sneezing while driving! Sneezing causes 2,500 accidents a year. This spring a MO woman was convicted of "imprudent" driving while sneezing in an accident that killed 1 person and paralyzed another. What should you do if overcome by a fit of sneezing? Slow down, pull over, and consider not driving while sick.

The driver of a tanker truck says sneezing caused his accident, which spilled corn syrup all over a highway, and a traffic backups for miles.
