With school out for most families, I thought I’d share some FREE family-friendly activities around locally to help kick off summer break!

From the Saint Louis Zoo and splash pads to parks, outdoor concerts, festivals, and movie nights, there are so many ways to make memories without spending a fortune. 🌞🎶🏊‍♀️

One of the things I love most about living and working in this area is that there’s always something fun to do close to home.

So this Summer we’re trying something different:
✨ chores = rewards
✨ teamwork = less stress for mom & dad
✨ and making cleaning feel a little less painful 😅

I made a fun little list of:
✔️ age-appropriate chores
✔️ reward ideas kids actually care about
✔️ deep-cleaning tasks
✔️ FREE summer fun around STL
✔️ cheap food nights because groceries are OFFENSIVE lately 💀🍔🍕

Honestly… kids can help with WAY more than we give them credit for 👏

Saving this one for myself too because apparently I’m running a free Airbnb over here all summer 😂☀️

Just a few simple things today can save you a lot of stress later:

✔️ Take a quick walk around your house – check for loose shingles, branches, clogged gutters
✔️ Bring in or secure anything outside
✔️ Snap a few pics of your home (super helpful for insurance if you ever need it)
✔️ Make sure your sump pump is good to go

💬 Just a little reminder… the homes that stay in the best shape (and hold value) are the ones cared for before problems pop up.
