er began in 1997 as an Assistant City Counselor for the City of St. He was initially assigned to Lambert International Airport, where he worked on significant projects like the W1W expansion and provided legal guidance to the Airport Board and the Police and Fire Retirement Systems. His work demonstrated a natural aptitude for navigating high-stakes issues that affect public institutions and the broader community. Later, John transitioned to City Hall, representing city officials, employees, and police officers in state and federal civil cases. His role expanded further when he served as a municipal prosecutor, giving him firsthand experience in upholding justice and ensuring fair outcomes. In 2006, driven by a desire to provide personalized, effective representation, John founded The Bouhasin Law Firm, P.C. His practice focuses on criminal defense, traffic violations, DWIs, personal injury, and workers’ compensation cases. John’s clients include individuals from all walks of life, including bar industry workers and numerous St. Louis police officers. He takes pride in helping people navigate challenging legal situations with care and expertise. For 16 years, until 2023, I was an active member of the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Officers Association, an organization that reflects my commitment to supporting those who serve and protect our city. Whether addressing individual legal needs or tackling complex civil matters, John’s career is defined by a dedication to justice, a connection to his community, and a drive to make a meaningful difference in the lives of his clients.
