After a long hiatus due to COVID-19, when I reopen I will only be practicing business and contract law. I have seen far too many unfair decisions in civil and criminal litigation and I just can't stomach it anymore.

When my firm emerges from its redesign, it will serve mainly small business and self-serve clients. However, the service to Michigan underserved populations will continue under the non-profit umbrella of The LACE (Legal Aid & Cultural Education) Corporation. For now, this non-profit is 100% funded by a portion of the profits from Phoenyx Designs. However, the giving goal of Phoenyx Designs is to support legal aid, community development and food banks across the country, not just Michigan so a dedicated source of funding for LACE Corp is necessary. All of these efforts are in their infancy but progress is being made and I am excited about the future -despite COVID-19. More to come soon!

Hi Friends,

Just wanted to let you know that while my firm has been closed to the public due to COVID-19 for some months, I am in the process of redesigning my business model and will re-open by December 31, 2020.

With the help of Macomb County, I received a grant to convert my practice to a virtual law firm and am working with a digital design firm to create interactive and virtual experiences that will allow me to provide service to the clients again soon.

I thank you for you patience and support during this time.
