As part of the St. Charles Regional Chamber, we were excited to attend this ribbon cutting! What a wonderful addition to the future growth of the Frenchtown district.
There will be a 636 celebration tomorrow in Frenchtown from 4pm to 10pm around 1305 N. 2nd Street, between Bayard & Wood Street. Don't let the barricade at 2nd Street and Clark stop you. Just go around it!

Started the week with a Veterans in-service at Park Place at Winghaven. Linda Priaulx with Continuum Care, Andrew Kulha from Baue Funeral Home and Cremation, and our own Diane Distl shared information on the PACT Act, medical benefits, non-service connected pension benefits for long-term care needs, burial benefits and Honor Flights. God bless our military personnel who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. By our words and actions, let's make sure our Gold Star families (those who have lost a family service member) know how grateful we are.

This weekend kicks off the unofficial Summer season. While you can now wear your whites- pants, skirts and shoes- without being judged, enjoy two hallmarks of this weekend: spending time with family and finding a way to honor our fallen soldiers who died while serving our country. You can search online and find Memorial Day weekend ceremonies to pay tribute to those who have sacrificed their lives.
