It is a pleasure to visit with Senior Communities while representing Beck, Lenox & Stolzer. We all care deeply about the needs of our aging clients and residents, and enjoy exchanging ideas and being a resource for others. It is a bonus when you can also laugh a little and enjoy some networking. Here were two such events this week- one at Park Place with the "pottery gals" and one with the Bee's Knees crowd at NHC Place St. Peters Memory Care.

Have you heard of the ASAP Act? Researchers have developed blood tests that can detect Alzheimer’s before symptoms appear. Major gamechanger!
Medicare is not currently allowed by law to cover the cost of those blood tests. Read the details here, and lobby Sen. Hawley to vote for this.

I know it's just the beginning of the week, but wanted to make sure you knew of two fun events coming up this weekend.
For our St. Charles area friends, the Walk to End Alzheimer's is this Saturday. You can go online and sign up with our team to walk or just show up that morning and register. Donations are always welcomed!

Saturday is also Oktoberfest in Frontier Park. As members of the St. Charles Regional Chamber, we will be volunteering during the event and plan to catch some of the exciting events, including the absolutely adorable Weiner Dog race!
