A Message from John:

To my family, friends and clients,

I want to thank you all for your kind words in regards to my retirement. As I look to my future and explore other things to do (even though I don’t know what that is yet), I just want to wish you and your families all the best in the years to come. Once again, thank you all for your comments.

Today marks the end of an era. After 44 years at the firm, John Moritz is retiring.

It’s hard to sum up a career that has had the impact that John’s has, but the least we can say is thank you--for the advice, guidance, humor, and leadership that you have offered to your clients and your community over the years. John has been a proud supporter of our community, both personally and professionally, ever since coming to Springfield in 1981. In that time, he has had numerous clients, some who have turned into lifelong friends.

Melanie and Deb will continue to carry on a legacy that has served the Springfield area for over 50 years.

And don’t worry, you will still be able to see John around, most likely frequenting the golf course and the dog park and everywhere in between with Turbo hanging out the window of his truck.

Under the Corporate Transparency Act, companies are to report beneficial ownership information (BOI) to the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN). Due to a court case challenging this requirement, BOI reporting is voluntary as of December 26, 2024. Because this is an ongoing case, the requirement could be reinstated.
