Daniel Bradley was awarded $225,000 in compensatory and punitive damages after suing Springfield police officers in connection with what jurors found was an illegal 2015 arrest during which Bradley was beaten.

Le'Keisha Brown, 35, of Springfield, filed an excessive force lawsuit against a Springfield police officer in federal court after what she argues was an unlawful arrest in 2015.
