Our Story

People are born to be heroes, not case numbers. However, even heroes make mistakes. Criminal charges can destroy lives and families unless you have the right attorney guiding you. I am Souder Tate, a criminal defense attorney, drug court professional, and sentencing consultant. I understand the criminal justice system, addiction and recovery, and I can help you. Every life is a story. One bad chapter doesn’t mean your story is over. If you are charged with a crime, you need an attorney who has the knowledge and experience to represent you in court. However, you need more than that. You need a guide who understands the big picture and can help you understand your purpose, pursue your passion, and create a plan to turn your dreams in your reality. I tell the stories of good people who have made bad choices but want to change. I have over 32 years of courtroom experience in criminal law, including four years as a prosecuting attorney. I work hard every day protecting and defending the rights of people charged with serious drug offenses, drunk driving, burglary, stealing charges, and probation violations. I also help clients get their driving privileges back. I care about my clients, and I hate the destruction criminal charges can have on their lives and families.
