October is breast cancer awareness month, a disease that is close to my heart.

In the United States, One in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime.

About 95% of all breast cancer diagnoses in the US occur in women 40 and older.

Women who get regularly screened for breast cancer have a 47% lower risk of dying from the disease compared to those that don’t.

So this is your reminder to get your regular check ups and be vigilant with changes to your body.
