It doesn't necessarily answer what caused a particular injury.

If you were injured while using a recalled product, there may be questions about how it was being used, what happened immediately before the injury, whether the product itself contributed to the incident and what evidence can help determine what went wrong.

Those details can matter in a product liability claim.

We think you should be able to ask your attorney what’s going on with your case, what happens next, and what all the legal stuff actually means.

Because “I’ll get back to you” is not the same as “Here’s what’s happening.”

Clear communication matters.

And yes, we answer questions. Even the ones that start with, “This might be a dumb question, but…"

CVA has issued a recall covering all production years of the Paramount, Paramount HTR, Paramount Pro, and Paramount Pro V2.

CVA is instructing owners to stop using affected ri**es and review the recall information.

If you were injured while using one of these ri**es, the circumstances surrounding the incident may also raise product liability questions.

What if the thing that hurt you was supposed to protect you?

A safety device. A piece of equipment. A household product. A tool.

When someone is injured by a product, there can be questions beyond the injury itself. Was the product defective? Was there a problem with its design or manufacture? Were adequate warnings provided?

Those questions can make a products liability case very different from a typical personal injury claim.

When an alcohol-related injury happens, most people naturally focus on the person who was behind the wheel.

However, in certain circumstances, South Carolina law may also raise questions about the person or business that provided the alcohol.

That area of law is known as Dram Shop law, and the circumstances can matter quite a bit.
