Most communication challenges in dementia care aren't about finding the right words. They're about understanding what's actually being communicated – and having a consistent approach when things get hard.

Your credentials should match the complexity of the work.

A dementia studies certificate goes beyond CEUs. It builds the clinical foundation to handle real situations: recognizing expressions of distress, communicating across cognitive changes, and supporting families through some of the most complex moments they will navigate together.

Whether you're a CNA looking to strengthen your practice, a nurse moving into a specialist role, or a director building a stronger care culture, there’s a program built for where you are right now.

Read the full guide to learn what strong programs cover, how to evaluate your options, and how to put what you earn to work: https://www.nccdp.org/dementia-studies-certificate.
