Loving someone in real estate means understanding what most people never see.
Their laptop is open at 10pm not because they want it to be, but because someone’s dream home depends on it.
They’re not obsessed with work. Their mind is carrying the weight of their clients’ biggest asset, their timelines, and everything that could go wrong.
When they’re quiet or distant, it’s not you. They’re replaying conversations, working through contracts, and trying to solve problems before they become real ones.
When a deal starts falling apart, they feel the pressure of holding it together for everyone involved.
When they have to deliver bad news, it’s never just a call. It’s someone’s plans, emotions, and expectations shifting in real time.
Their stress isn’t dramatic. It’s the responsibility of knowing this is where someone will raise their kids, build memories, and create their life.
They don’t take that lightly.
So if you love someone in real estate, give them a little extra patience and a little extra grace. There is a lot on their shoulders that doesn’t make it into the highlight reel.
Shoutout to the families of realtors who support the late nights, the pressure, and everything in between ❤️
