Steve Trahey is a 1979 graduate of University of Michigan Dearborn Law School, and attended classes at the Detroit College of Law. He was raised in Allen Park, Michigan is enjoying marriage to his wife of more than 40 years. A past president of the Romulus Rotary service club, Steve is an strong advocate for disabled persons. He has served on several Michigan State Bar Disabilities Committees, and

was Chairman of the Great Lakes Center for Independent Living, providing services for disabled veterans and nursing home residents. Besides his successful law practice, Steve is an accomplished athlete. He enjoys skiing, scuba diving and has earned Second Place in the Detroit Marathon Wheelchair Division in both 2010 and 2011. He competes regularly in handcycle and wheelchair races in Flint and Grand Rapids, Michigan, and has participated in races in New York and New Orleans.
