We recently helped a seller Rehab their mother’s house for sale in Oxford before listing in just a weeks time. My team repaired all siding, shutters put on, stained whole house, floors refinished, pre listing septic inspection revealed a bad septic tank. New tank installed. Before I took this listing it sat on the market with another agent for 6 months. I asked the seller why does he think his house didn’t sell. He didn’t have the answer. It was a three bedroom home and only 1 bedroom had a closet. I told the seller I thought this was why the house didn’t sell. I called my contractor, he was in the house building big beautiful closets the next day. I took the listing did an open house. Everyone who came to the open house talked about how nice the closets were. I listed on Friday and Sunday I had contracts signed.
