How do you keep good credit ? Determine the difference between a want and a need. If you want something don’t reach for that plastic. Determine how much you can afford to pay each month. A large part of those payments will go toward interest and not toward lowering what you owe. So if you “want” not need something put that money into savings. You can pay off your ”want” faster with a bigger down payment.

If you have no CREDIT how do you get to Good CREDIT? It’s easier than you think. Credit is a history; so, you build your credit with small purchases that you could have paid cash for. Let’s say a tank full of gas. Get a “small” Walmart gas card and buy gas. Now most important, the next day go online and pay for it! Don’t wait for the bill to be produced. More about why later.

Did you know there are 3 forms of credit? Bad Credit, no credit and good credit. No credit and bad credit have the same effect but they are drastically different. No credit means you don’t have a payment history. The better the credit the lower the interest.
