Discover 7 spring well-being tips to embrace or share with your team! The changing of the seasons brings a great opportunity to reevaluate what's bringing you closer to your goals for wellness and productivity.
Ways you can encourage spring well-being at work:
1. Eat fresh, in season produce: maybe introduce a fruit basket in the lunch room or contribute to a community garden as a team.
2. Spend more time outside: take a team meeting in the outdoors or catch a little sun on your lunchrbreak.
3. Spring cleaning: Tidy up your workspace or group working areas.
4. Get out and exercise: as a team, join some kind of "walk for a cause" or a charity event with a physical activity component.
5. Be aware of spring allergies: it's nice to have the windows open, but be considerate of team members who are allergic to pollen. Station tissues around the office.
6. Pick up a new hobby: join a club and see if anyone you work alongside will join with you. It could be community dodgeball, birdwatching, or a free library event. Dust off a common interest you haven't engaged in for awhile.
7. Reconnect with loved ones: Remind your team members to take much-needed PTO to visit a family member out of town or a friend they haven't had time for in a while. Create opportunities for team members to hang out outside of work.
