This change could negatively affect property owners, real estate transactions, property values, and communities throughout the 14 coastal counties. 🚨 TWIA ALERT — YOUR WINDSTORM INSURANCE COULD BE AFFECTED

As your State Representative, I stopped TWIA HIKES! Now, the TWIA Legislative Committee will meet on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at 1:30 PM, and an important proposal is being considered that could impact coastal Texans.

A proposal to exclude second homes from TWIA coverage could have a significant negative impact on homeowners, property owners, and communities across all 14 Texas coastal counties.

I will be participating to OPPOSE in Tuesday’s meeting by Zoom, and I encourage you to make your voice heard by submitting an email.
