One of our long time clients was detained by ICE and after transferring him to several detention centers he was sent to California. The ninth circuit decided a few weeks ago that people who entered without inspection can request a bond. We filed a motion to request a bond based on change of circumstances and the immigration judge granted a bond. Our client is free now. If your relative has been transferred to other areas in the country it is possible that the district where he is located allows him to be release on bond.
