He has also directed dozens of local road races and coached several kids' soccer, basketball and little league teams. Attorney Keenan is an avid distance runner (he has completed 43 marathons) and enjoys raising his three young sons with his wife and fixing up their historic federal colonial home.

Attorney Michael J. Keenan has been practicing in the area of estate planning since November of 1997. He also practices in the areas of special needs trusts, probate law and elder law, as these topics commonly arise during the course of establishing a client’s estate plan. He is a frequent public speaker on these legal subjects for civic and professional groups and participates in live seminars and nationally-broadcast webinars. He is the former Executive Managing Editor of the Connecticut Probate Law Journal, and a current member of the Connecticut Bar Association and National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. Attorney Keenan received his Juris Doctorate degree in 1997 from the Quinnipiac University School of Law in Hamden, Connecticut.
Attorney Keenan is also very active in the local community, currently serving as the Family & Community Engagement Officer for the Connecticut River Valley Chamber of Commerce. In the past he has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Glastonbury Chamber of Commerce. He has served as director of many local road races, including Glastonbury’s popular Apple Harvest Festival 5K. He has also coached local soccer, little league and basketball teams. Attorney Keenan is an avid distance runner (he has completed 40 marathons) and enjoys raising his three young sons with his wife while fixing up their historic federal colonial home.
