‼️LOCAL RESTAURANTS‼️ We saw this meme and it really resonated with us. We eat locally all the time, and we hope we’re helping.

It is with great sadness that we learn of his passing. The dedication he exhibited to the law, his kindness to and investment in the people that came to his courthouse will forever be remembered. Thank you for your hard work and service, may you Rest In Peace.

Mister Clerk…

We join the many others today in acknowledging the sad passing yesterday, after long-illness, of long time Provincetown resident and Retired First Assistant Clerk Magistrate of Court Charles F. Welsh.

A familiar face and local resource to the many police departments of the Outer Cape towns from Provincetown to Dennis, Charlie was well respected for his knowledge of the law and his courtesy and respect for all in the courtroom — lawyers, police and defendants - many of whom he often greeted by name.

During the day he would be responsible for the legal work of the Clerk’s Office and have supervisory responsibilities for the entire administrative staff. He would assist the Clerk of Court in performing administrative duties as set forth in state statutes and court rules. And have full range of administrative responsibilities including the preparation and maintenance of all court papers and records and performance and oversight of administrative tasks to ensure that cases move rapidly and smoothly through the court.

Mr. Welsh was a true gentleman to the very end and we express our heartfelt and sincerest condolences to the entire Welsh family
