IRS ANNOUNCEMENT 2022-13, MILEAGE RATE (INCREASE) CHANGE FOR 2022.
If you take mileage on your tax return, make sure to total your miles by dates 1-1 thru 6-30 and then 7-1 thru 12-31. The mileage rate for the last 6 months of the year will increase by 4 cents to 62.5 cents for business miles. The medical mileage allowance will also be increased by 4 cents.
