This afternoon, our attorneys volunteered at the 2026 South Dakota HOSA State Leadership Conference at the Pentagon, presenting a medical malpractice mock trial for high school students. It was a great opportunity to engage with driven future professionals.

A good win for SD 🙌

HB 1183 just passed 7-0 out of Senate Judiciary!

Someone in the middle of an overdose is most often unable to call for help themselves.

House Bill 1183 simply extends immunity from prosecution to the person who overdoses when someone else seeks emergency assistance on their behalf.

That’s the whole point of Good Samaritan laws: to encourage people to do the right thing without fear. Helping people survive their most vulnerable moments is why I ran in for the State House. Seeing this bill move forward unanimously makes me proud.

We had our ribbon cutting tonight for the Sioux Falls Chamber of Commerce! Thank you everyone that popped over and said hi!! We celebrated our 8 year business anniversary at the same time.

Time has flown by, grateful for our growth and the opportunity to represent so many South Dakotans in some of their toughest times.

Special shout out to the team: Sheila Latterell (6 years) Rose Quaye (3 years this May) Allison Sanner (3 years this July) and Jelena Djordjevic (2 years next month). So grateful to have the best team around ❤️
