At least it's a very easy fix! If you've got a buzz, check those fine tuner screws!

It really is important to get your tools sharpened, they just work better! I was working on a video for cutting a bridge, turns out it's so not usable because my knives were so dull, it really made me look like an amateur! So back to the basics.

Part 2 of adding a missing edge back onto a violin. Wait for the ending!

Stefan here👋: Congratulations (again) to Brandi Oviedo Rieck for winning employee of the month. Apparently being voted "Best" by your own students counts... seems a bit biased, but sure. Meanwhile, I'm getting grilled by the Bobs' being asked, "so what is it you do here? ".

Real good scratchy ASMR of Mr Stefan sharpening my bow knife using a K03 sharpening jig. Today, fridays at for sharpening.

SOUND ON🎶🎤🔈🎶

UNLABELED MARKNEUKIRCHN / SCHÖNBACH REGION (GERMANY / BOHMIA)
CELLO - late 19TH CENTURY.

Late 29th century German workshop cello

This Cello is a fine example of traditional workshop craftsmanship, likely originating from the Markneukirchen region circa 1880-1900. Built during a time when instruments were made to be played rather than displayed, it offers a warm, grounded tonal character well suited for advancing students and dedicated players alike.

Featuring a hand carved bass bar and classic trade construction, this instrument has developed a mature voice over time, with a pleasing depth on the lower strings and a balanced, responsive upper register.

The maple back shows attractive natural figure, complemented by an amber toned varnish that has aged gracefully.

Recently serviced and structurally sound, this Cello is ready for is next chapter. Whether in the hand of a developing musician or someone seeking an authentic, character-rich instrument with history behind it.

Available on consignment through Grün Oak, LLC in Sioux falls, South Dakota. Offered at $3200.
