Starting Tuesday, May 26, any child age 18 and under is eligible for nutritious meal boxes at four drive-through pickup sites: Benton Middle, W.T. Lewis Elementary, Haughton Middle and Parkway High.

* Each box includes 7 shelf stable breakfasts & lunches (no refrigeration or heating needed).
* This USDA Summer Food Service Program is completely FREE!
Curbside pickups are from 7-11 a.m. every Tuesday, May 26-June 23 and July 7-July 28.
* Parents or guardians must complete a quick registration form to participate.

Day of Fun and Learning at CPSO Kids Day Camp

A day of fun, learning, and hands-on exploration awaits local youth as the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office presents its Kids Day Camp at Sheriff’s Safety Town.

The camp will take place Friday, May 22, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Sheriff’s Safety Town, located at 8910 Jewella Avenue in Shreveport. The event is open to children ages 5 to 10.

Campers will take part in a variety of engaging activities designed to promote safety awareness and interactive learning. Camp highlights include outdoor adventures, safety concepts, and activities inside the Safety Town Weather House.

The Kids Day Camp is designed to provide a safe, fun environment where children can learn important life skills while building relationships with deputies.
