CASE RESULT: An Edmonds couple received a six figure settlement in response to a lawsuit initiated by the woman who accosted them at their home in July 2021, attacking the couple both verbally and physically. The attacker subsequently sued my clients for defamation for discussing the incident. The resolution of the claim marks the close to an especially ugly chapter for my clients and a win squarely in the "good guys" column.

It’s a lucky thing to find something you are good at and love to do. It feels pretty cool to know that other people in the field you love validate that you are where you belong too. Year 3 as a Super Lawyers Rising Star selection hits as a double win as it also marks 1 year since hanging my own shingle! Lots of big things ahead!!!

Washington, it’s icy out there. If you find your vehicle sliding, follow these tips:

1. Take your foot off the accelerator. Gently.

2. Brake only when you’re sure you’re going to hit something. Then, press the brakes firmly to engage your ABS brakes. Don’t pump those brakes!

3. Keep your wheel in line with the road. Don’t overcorrect. Stay focused on the road ahead not the side of the road. Hold that wheel.

Come to a stop and say, “Holy crap that was scary!”
