Another “who’s checking on your home while you’re away” post…. We visit multiple homes in the Shell K**b area that are frequently unoccupied. We check in on the properties and look for obvious issues that can sometimes turn into major problems. This is a big part of what we do for our clients. Below are some recent examples:

- Leaking patio doors with floor damage
- Alarming septic system with backup
- Roof damage with slipped shingles

Another “who’s checking on your home while you’re away” post…. This client had air conditioner drain lines that backed up and flooded the basement. Our regular visits to the home found the issue, initiated cleanup immediately and managed the cleanup and necessary remodel work to get this home back in good condition. Without regular visits this issue and the flooding into the home would have went on for months, resulting in huge damage costs.

Who is keeping an eye on on your lake, vacation or weekend home while you’re away? That’s exactly what we do! Our routine home visits found issues this week that likely saved one of our clients thousands of dollars in damages from a roof leak. We now will be managing a temporary repair, working with the insurance company and contractors to get these issues taken care of quickly while the client is out of state.
