For Meet the Team Monday, it's time to celebrate one of our exceptional founding partners, Brady Rife! Brady is a Founding Partner and Attorney, which means he's busy with everything from investigating, managing, and trying cases to managing day-to-day operations of the firm. He earned a BA from Wabash College and his JD from IU McKinney but didn't always plan on pursuing law. He switched from an aspiring Latin or English professor to a large paint manufacturer and found it was not for him. Instead, he worked as a law clerk for the firm while attending law school at night, a decision he would repeat in a heartbeat.
Brady describes his motivation as "a deep interest in helping people and solving problems." He shares, "My family really motivates me. I want to set a good example to them of what dedication and hard work look like." That drive has resulted in a decades-long career serving clients that is full of achievements. But he describes his greatest achievement as confronting real-life "David v. Goliath" situations. In one case, "We got a very good result for our clients who had suffered a tremendous loss. When we can help someone in need and stand up to the bully, I feel good about that."
When he's not busy slaying giants in the legal system, Brady enjoys reading, exercise, and the outdoors, preferably on sunny, warm days. He also spends time supporting his kids in their extra-curricular activities. "I enjoy watching them compete and grow."
Family is a primary source of motivation, but Brady adds, "My clients motivate me. I want to help them get through their issue or hopefully help them recover what they've lost. My work team motivates me. I want them to be successful, and I need to be on my game to help them do that."
