What a relief! After losing in 2018 due to the perilous straight party voting system, Adam is back when it matters most. The people of District 23 deserve a honest, proven, and dedicated DA and thats what we got. This is incredible news.

Governor Kevin Stitt today announced the appointment of Adam Panter to serve as district attorney for the 23rd Judicial District, encompassing Pottawatomie and Lincoln Counties. Panter will serve the remainder of the current term, following the vacancy created by the resignation of Allan Grubb.

The ten page scathing report submitted to the Oklahoma Supreme Court calling for Allan Grubbs removal lays out perfectly not only why he must be removed from office but also why he needs to be held criminally responsible. For years Grubb has used and abused his office for his own gain as well as those he considers friends. Whats evident to me from the report is that Grubb was never meant for public office. A whole day could be spent pointing fingers for how Allan Grubb was elected but whats most important is that he overwhelmingly lost his bid for reelection only 4 years later. In their report calling for Grubbs removal the Multi-County Grand Jury lay out three counts they believe warrant removing Grubb from Office. The details of even just one count is enough in my eyes to call for his removal but seen together its remarkable. Count 1 details his willful and habitual neglect of duty in which he deprived numerous victims, of horrific crimes, their constitutional rights and a voice in proceedings involving their cases. As well as executing deferred prosecution agreements contrary to the best interest of both victims and the public. Instead of executing agreements for deferred prosecution in consideration of factors and guidelines set forth to ensure the proper ex*****on of said agreements, Allan Grubb made his own rules in which he prioritized executing agreements for deferred prosecution to generate revenue for the DAs office. Despite this strategy Grubb somehow still drove the DAs office into debt with the DAC. In one particular instance Grubb expressed to members of his staff his desire to charge the victim of sexual battery with prostitution in a case in which he executed a deferred prosecution agreement. Instead of upholding the oath he took Allan Grubb worked harder for criminals than victims, threatened those who stood in his way, and misled and lied to the public and victims alike. Counts 2 and 3 detail just how far Allan Grubb let the morale and professionalism of the Office of District Attorney digress. Right was wrong and good was bad to Grubb and on multiple occasions Grubb attempted to effect arrests illegally or conduct investigations without cause on individuals who criticized him. The vile nature in which he addressed members of his staff and the perverse comments made by Grubb would make the raunchiest individual blush. Instead of serving those he swore he would Allan Grubb served himself and his personal associates and if he is not held accountable what's to stop the next guy?

The recent news that a ADA from Ottawa county has pled guilty to charges stemming from his abuse of power to serve his own needs proves no one Is above the law. Even those who swear to serve their communities must be held accountable for any wrong doing. Bravo to all agencies involved in this case.

I am extremely concerned as are many residents of Pottawatomie and Lincoln counties are concerned with the inaction and failures of the Grubb administration. One common theme is that the rampant corruption of Allan Grubb is worthy of Jail time and I couldn't agree more. For four years Allan Grubb has used his position to be lenient on violent offenders and mysteriously dismiss charges left and right. Not only has Grubb abandoned the very oath of office he took he has abandoned all members of his district to enrich himself. While enriching himself Grubb has simultaneously driven the District 23 DAs office into debt miraculously. For all of these missteps and illegal actions Allan Grubb belongs behind bars.
