📉 GOOD NEWS FOR BUYERS! 🏡
If you’ve been sitting on the sidelines waiting for mortgage rates to improve, now might be the time to start exploring your options.
Freddie Mac reported that the average 30-year fixed mortgage rate dipped to 6.47% this week, continuing a recent trend of lower rates. More importantly, they’re seeing buyers look past short-term rate fluctuations and confidently re-enter the market. (Freddie Mac)
Here’s what I tell my clients:
✅ You can refinance a rate.
❌ You can’t go back and buy the house you missed.
As rates ease, more buyers tend to jump back into the market, which can mean more competition and fewer opportunities to negotiate. Right now we’re still seeing some great opportunities across the Olympic Peninsula, and many sellers are offering concessions that weren’t available a few years ago.
If you’re wondering:
🏠 “How much house can I afford?”
🏠 “Should I buy now or wait?”
🏠 “What would my payment actually look like?”
Let’s chat! I’d be happy to connect you with a trusted local lender and help you build a game plan—whether you’re ready to buy next month or next year.
