Although the U.S.-Iran cease-fire has eased global tensions, the Federal Reserve remains in a delicate balancing act as lingering energy costs threaten to stall inflation progress without fully dampening consumer demand. Recent meeting minutes highlight a cautious stance, with officials projecting only a single rate reduction this year as they wait for inflation to hit their 2% target. However, there is a silver lining for those hoping for lower rates: the Fed has signaled a growing openness to easing monetary policy if high gas prices or shifting economic conditions begin to weigh too heavily on the labor market and consumer spending. While the path to cuts has narrowed due to a stabilized economy, the Fed’s focus on protecting labor conditions provides a hopeful path toward lower interest rates later this year.

It is funny how real estate works....about 3 years ago, I was helping a young couple buy a home in Aurora. We had to park a distance from the showing & I had to walk back to my car for my measurer. When I returned, my buyers were talking to a neighbor (lets call her Sue). Sue said "She wanted to sell her home & your buyers here really speak well of you & think you're great" (Well, if you knew these buyers, they love everyone & think everyone is great, seriously...lol!). I toured Sue's home a couple days later but in the end, she decided not to sell so I set her up with a report of available homes & call her every 6 months or so. A few months ago, I get a call from a gentleman who wants to sell his house in Aurora. He tells me Sue referred me. This is how I got this listing and I'll be selling his mom's home too! So here is the chain of events....maybe 15 years ago, I helped a "mature" couple buy a home in Castle Rock - this couple referred me to their daughter to buy & sell a home - daughter referred me to her daughter & son-in-law (the young couple I helped 3 years ago) - the young couple referred me to the neighbor in the street (Sue) - Sue referred me to a gentleman - the gentleman referred me to his mom! It is the perfect illustration of how one connection in real estate can grow into a network of new connections. With all that said....check out the gentleman's house, my new listing in Aurora....the home needs some TLC but look at the location....I did aerial photos so you can see the High Line Canal behind the house! And what a price!
